Age Group Development 1

This group is designed for 10 and under swimmers who have completed the ICS 3 program or equivalent, and are ready to continue their development in the sport of competitive swimming. Swimmers will progress through levels 1-3 based on the swimming prerequisites provided for each group and must commit to the time commitments required for each group. Competitions consist of PASS meets throughout the year These meets will cost $5 per meet

  • Prerequisites:
    • Completion of ICS 3 ( or comparable program)
    • must be able to swim a legal 100 IM and dive of the starting blocks
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday., Wednesday, Friday 3:50-5:30pm
    • Tuesday, Thursday 5:45- 7:00pm
    • Saturday 8:45- 10:00am
  • Swimmers must attend any 4 out of 6 workouts

Age Group Development 2

This program is designed for 10 and under swimmers who have completed the prerequisites below, and wish to continue their development in the sport of competitive swimming. Competitions include regular LMR meets, as well as a few invitational meets (including the possibility of team travel).

  • Prerequisites:
    • 4:00 or better for a 200 IM
    • 5:40 or better for a 300 Free
    • Recommended 4:30 or better for a 200 flutter kick
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday Wednesday Friday 5:15-7:00pm
    • Tuesday Thursday 5:45-7:00pm
    • Saturday 8:45-7:00am
  • Swimmers must attend any 5 out of 6 workouts
  • Required Equipment info

 

Age Group Development 3

This program is designed for 10 and under swimmers who have completed the prerequisites below, and are committed to the training and competitive schedule. Competitions include regular LMR meets, as well as invitational meets (including occasional team travel).

  • Prerequisites:
    • 3:35 or better for a 200 IM
    • 6:30 or better for a 400 Free
    • Recommended 4:15 or better for a 200 flutter kick
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday Wednesday Friday 5:15-7:00pm
    • Tuesday Thursday 5:45-7:00pm
    • Saturday 8:45-7:00am
  • Swimmers must attend all Workouts
  • Required Equipment info ( swimmers will be able to purchase a gray Rapids Sweatshirt)
