Officials Coordinator - The Officials Coordinator maintains a list of member's swim official status. He/she will arrange officials' clinics in conjunction with BCSOA when necessary as well as advising the membership. Will arrange all officials and scheduling for non-Rapids competitions. Work with the meet management team in organizing officials for all rapid hosted competitions.

Meet Manager - Plans and executes the meet. Attendance for the entire meet is mandatory. Responsible for all the organizational details of the meet, shall have control of the mechanics associated with the running of the meet and shall be responsible for having the necessary equipment and personnel available during the meet. Shall also be responsible for the dissemination of all meet information and forms. Will oversee that the preparation of entry lists, heat sheets, official results is completed on time and see that all record applications are processed. Shall be the Chair of Jury of Appeal for the Meet, will do whatever needs to be done to ensure a successful meet.  The Meet Manager must have attended clinic for meet managers or have related experience.

Assistant Meet Manager - assist meet manager.  It is expect that the Assistant Meet Manager will be able to act as a Meet Manager after performing the Assistant Meet Manager position two times.

2 per day of meet

Meet Secretary - Collection of all entries and monies from all teams as well as all financial affairs related to competition. Prepares official results package. Inputs entries from the team disks into the meet management program. Runs all seeding and lists necessary prior to competition. Arranges all results and heat sheets.  Computer knowledge is an asset.

4 per day of meet

Assistant Meet Secretary - assist Meet Secretary.  Computer knowledge is an asset.  It is expect that the Assistant Meet Secretary will be able to act as the Meet Secretary after performing the Assistant Meet Secretary position two times.

2 per day of meet

Set-up and Equipment Manager - assist director of swimming in setting the pool schedule for all home meets.  Assist all Meet Mangers and Meet Secretaries as required.

4/meet

Meet Set-up and take down helpers - the evening before the swim meet, assist meet manager in setting up all the electronics, computers, touch-pads, etc. required for the meet.  Following the last races of the meet, assist meet manager with the take down of all electronics, computers, touch-pads, etc.

2/meet

Swim Officials Training - Attend clinics. (points will not be given for repeat clinics)

Timer - trained at a timer's clinic to time swimmers. Hand times races.

Stroke & Turn - attended stroke and turn clinic and completed on-deck training.  Observes swimmers' start, strokes and turns.

Chief Timer - Attended Chief Timer's clinic.  Organizes the timers. Responsible for the stop watches, and acts as a backup timer should a timer develop problems.

2/heats +1 for finals

Clerk of the course / - Organizes entries, takes and deletes entries as per coach's wishes.

3/ heats +1 for finals

Starter - Starts each heat.

3/heats + 1 for finals

Referee - General Manager of the session. Final authority on all actions.

Hospitality Coordinator - Coordinates all hospitality arrangements for officials, coaches and staff.

3 per day of meet

Food Helper - distributes/prepares food for the officials.

2/heats +1 for finals

Electronics Operator - Runs the electronic timer.

2/heats + 1 for finals

Awards Coordinator - Takes inventory, arranges and organizes orders for swimmers award for Rapids hosted meets. Prepares and distributes awards during the competitions. Works with head coach in seeking quality and value for awards night trophies.
