Provincial Age Group 1

This group is designed to develop the skills needed for a competitive swimmer to compete at the Regional (LMR) and Provincial level; with the primary objective being to qualify for the BC Champs (AAA's).

  • Prerequisites:
    • 11-14 year old
    • 3:10 or better for a 200 IM
    • 6:00 or better for a 400 Free
    • 4:00 or better for a 200 Flutter kick
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday Wednesday Friday 5:15-7:00pm
    • Tuesday Thursday 3:50- 5:30pm                            
    • Saturday 6:50-9:00am
  • Swimmers must attend 5 evenings and Saturday morning
  • Required Equipment info ( swimmers  will be able to purchase a blue Rapids Track suit)

 

Provincial Age Group 2

This group is designed to develop the skills needed for a competitive swimmer to compete at the Regional (LMR) and Provincial level; with the primary objective being to be an 11-13 year old finalist or 13-14 year old qualifier at the BC Champs (AAA's).

  • Prerequisites:
    • 11-14 year old
    • 2:50 or better for a 200 IM
    • 5:20 or better for a 400 Free
    • 7:30 or better for a 400 Flutter kick
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday Wednesday Friday 3:50-6:00pm
    • Tuesday Thursday  6:00-7:30am / 3:50- 5:30pm                            
    • Saturday 6:50-9:00am
  • Swimmers must attend 5 evenings and Saturday morning and either Tuesday or Thursday morning
  • Required Equipment info ( swimmers will be able to purchase a blue Rapids Track suit)

 

Provincial Age Group 3

This group is designed to develop the skills needed for a competitive swimmer to compete at Provincial and Club National level; with the primary objective being to be a 11-12 year old Club National qualifier or 13-14 year old finalist at BC Champs (AAA's).

  • Prerequisites:
    • 11-14 year old
    • 2:40 ( female)/ 2:35 (male) or better for a 200 IM
    • 5:00(female)/ 4:50 ( male) or better for a 400 Free
    • 7:00 or better for a 400 flutter kick
  • Training schedule:
    • Monday Wednesday Friday 3:50-6:00pm
    • Tuesday Thursday  6:00-7:30am / 3:50- 5:30pm                            
    • Saturday 6:50-9:00am
  • Swimmers must attend 5 evenings and Saturday morning and both Tuesday or Thursday mornings
  • Required Equipment info ( swimmers  will be able to purchase a blue Rapids Track suit)
